Root CRT animation for screen off with stock rom?

Is anyone able to get the custom CRT animation for the stock rom? I have looked around, and there is this on RootzWiki, but that might be a little over my head.

Does anyone know how to get the sweet CRT off on Dinc2?

This doesn't really answer your question but you can download the "screen off and lock" app which has the CRT animation. Saves wear and tear on your hardware key as well.

Yeah, I may just have to deal with it.


...OR flash an AOSP rom.
