Cupcake Has Arrived

Lol...I still like my idea of calling it Cupcake: First Bite etc.

It sort of solves the miscommunication...

What thing? This is just a ****ing phone ... what's with the obsession with the next piece of software upgrade for a PHONE? Why be such a tool?
It's more than "just a ****ing phone." It's essentially a mini portable computer which for a lot of us is vital to performing our daily tasks.

You're killing me ... yeah, a computer with about 4 hours worth of battery life, hope it's not that "vital" after 4 hours ...

It is very clear you don't have a G1 I get more than 24 Hours use on one charge ...

Wrong and no, using wifi/3g, bluetooth for 'vital' needs ... 8 hours max, pretty much the same as an iPhone, very poor batt life, definitely something NOT to be relied upon for anything 'vital'.

Don't know about you...but my Wi-Fi stays on permanently...and I can get about a day's worth of usage on my phone...

And I'm always browsing the internet on it....so it's being used and not just idling...

I'd look into that if I were you then, I easily get 24-36 hours using wifi frequently throughout the day(s). Try turning your screen's brightness down from 'kill'.

I basically have to turn off all the "fun" features of the phone to make it reliable in case I do need to depend on it in the car, and it's already failed me twice while driving.

Sounds like you have a defective battery. I have wifi and gps turned on all day and can get at least 12-14 hours off one charge with HEAVY usage.

I'm on my 3rd battery and 2nd phone, including the charger. It's just the way I use it. It does what I want, just not much longer than 8 hours, before it's at 10% and can't be relied upon without finding an outlet.

I just care about accuracy, something that bloggers and people interested in sharing legit information should also have as a priority. Unless I missed something this isn't an Android Gossip Site, the intent is to share real information on the product.

In the grand scheme of things, no, it doesn't matter what it's called, but in the grand scheme, none of this matters.

But if you care enough to have a forum, care enough to create information streams, to share with others, to have conversations about this product, then yes -- you should care if you're information is accurate. Otherwise, if nobody cares if it's true or real or accurate, what's the point of all these words, links, and pictures?
