Curious SMS

Everytime I reboot I get an SMS presumably from Orange, which consists of strange "Wing Dings" font type characters. Whats that all about?

Every time this has happened to me, it was a stuck/garbled voicemail notification. Check your voicemail, maybe listen to a message even if it's not new, then exit in such a way that it hangs up (what I mean is, you don't hang up; on many systems if you hit the asterisk from the main menu it will hang up on you).

I'm on orange as well. I get these now and again. Is it a triangle and something a bit like an & sign? My understanding was that these were SIM updates - but not sure why they would be happening every time you reboot.
