Root Current 3G speed only 1.1Kbps on Speedtest App

Hey guys I've been having this issue for a week now and I'm still located on the same area, my 3G speeds went from a regular run to a complete crawl...

At first my 3g Speeds were bout 156-170 Kbps in the morning
and about 40-70 Kbps in the afternoon and evening.

But now im getting 22Kbps in the early morning at most sometimes.
And 0.8-1.7 Kbps in the afternoon and during the whole day.

Anybody got a fix for this? I mean i have 4/5 Signal Bars and my text and phonecalls work good except for the web...

Is there an app that i could use to increase that? BTW im using set DNS pro i dunno if that makes a difference but i'd like to know...

It's the tower in your area. Go to a different area/city and see what your data speeds are like. There probably isn't much you can do. You could try a different PRL but if that tower sucks that bad it won't help.

I already called up customer care and tech support but says that there's a good reception of the tower here... and i already tried i went to NJ for the weekend and found that my speed went back to normal, but its strange though because i've stayed here for a couple of months already and had good service until about a week ago when it started...

What do you mean by changing the PRL? What will that do and what are the steps? I'm new at tweaking unless its an app that someone already developed...

Thanks im testing this now, im only trying first the non tricky part yet haha then if it doesn't work out ill do the other steps.

Im trying to get this app but since my internet connection is 1kbs or less it takes hours for it to download and it keeps getting cut off....

I tired this but my phones usb port is broken... No luck at all... Stuck with current prl...

Thanks but still no luck as of now I'll try in the morning if my net speed works better!

And does anybody think if i do a full reset on my phone that it will fix the net problem? It may be because i kept tweaking my phone and stuff thats the problem? I dunno just a thought...

Lol i was just gonna suggest doing factory reset
