No it doesn't have the T-Mob splash screen, just the standard HTC ones, so I guess I was lucky to get an unbranded\SIM Free phone!

I got it from Mobile Phones Direct on an 18mo T-Mob contract ..... Will have to try another SIM in it to check

Yes mobilephonesdirect ship out unbranded devices, thats why i always deal with them, they do some great deals, even though they have poor service.
 
Bought mine from an online shop
and think that is from france since available languages are english and francais (lol)

UK - Virgin Mobile - Contract

1.15.405.4

The only branding the phone has is the animated virgin media splash screen on startup and a preset scene called Virgin Media with a VM web link on it. Nothing else added, removed or disabled.
 
If you got 'em in the UK on any contract, and you grabbed them from somewhere like Carphone Warehouse or a 'supplier' rather than direct from the carrier or a carrier's badged shop, you'll have 1.15.405.4, which is the generic sim free one. I'm on that one in Vodafone in the UK.

Vodafone UK has just gone up to: 1.19.161.5 according to their eForum. It's being pushed out to people now. In there appears to be a fix for the 'incorrect number assigned to facebook contacts, something to do with the camera, and a few new icons for apps, such as radio.
