Custom Boot for Incredible Rotting apple

Hey Guys haven't seen a custom boot for the incredible with the rotting apple so i decided to put it together with droid x boot hope you guys like it. This was first attempt at this. I have only been a smart phone owner for a little more than a month. Please say thanks if you enjoy this.

Are you kidding me? thats bad ass, must figure this out too. Some instructions for a dummy would be nice, i think i read a post about how to do it tho,

Cool animation. Would be nice if the animation length were the full length of the phone boot so it wouldn't repeat.
 
so i do the adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local and it says permission denied...

same for /system/bin, where should this file go, and how does one move it there lol.

Read all those forums and it seems simple, anyone else getting the permission denied error message in adb shell?

You have to mount /system and /data first in the partitions menu in clockworkmod recovery.
 
Oh my god go read the linked thread. Actually page 9 has the best instructions. Worked on my first try with those.

Anyway, this boot is awesome! Can we integrate this into the oem DInc eye animation instead of the swirling words? Ill try it when i get home. Just figured out how to make these. Great job!
 
The mediafire link to the bootanimation.zip is not working for me.


Edit: NVM. Stupid Orbitdownloader. I had it shut off but it was still trying to take over my DL. Had to uninstall.
