custom extended battery project

some research help would b nice
extended batteries are 2 stock batteries in top of each other and a fat case on top

in short i want to fit a bigger battery on top of the stock one to use the extra space under the extended case. of course this is more likely to work for those of u with the aftermarket extended than those with the verizon revolution extended

for my connect i found the s2 battery fits very snug wideways just alot of room lengthwise. its 1850mah theres a 2250 version and the connects stock is 1650 our best extended slim one is 1900 confirmed accurate. and our best extended is 3850 confirmed accurate

i want to try to fit a galaxy note or a s3 battery in there. the notes battery is 2500mah with an aftermarket at 2650. now with that kind of extra capacity we get 750mah more. if it fits and maybe more if we have room for a bigger one. i know the esteem has WAY more room than the connect under that aftermarket cover from what i recall. i have the verizon one btw.

does anyone have access to a note's battery to try and fit or measure for me? and is there a bigger or different battery you would suggest from a different phone? any suggestions jusst throw them out there.

i did my research and asking about parallel connecting different calacity lithium batteries and it should b fine in fact it shud b a bit better. i can explain more if u nag but its a long explanation.

what is the purpose of having 2 batteries @ once? wouldn't you rather buy extended battery & be done with it? 2 batteries in one phone? Hmm. just an idea what it would look like.

your not understanding.
an extended battery is 2 batteries stacked on top of each other
BUT the second battery that is stacked on top is the same size as the stock battery
and with the extended battery covers we have we can fit a much larger second battery to take advantage of the extra room we have under the cover.

do u get what im trying to do?

why not just say to hell with it, stick a 25-30c lipo 1s in there, soft pack while your at it to cram as much mah in there. it will theoretically last longer then the extended (if mah is smaller) because it will be a complete ease for the pack to deliver the demanding amperage. you can find them in a wide variety of sizes and dimensions, check out hobbyking.com or hobbypartz.com for the cheapest prices. just remember it is a 1s pack, the extended would be a 1s2p

the specs of the rates are about the same, 1c=amperage of the pack for charing, the 'c' is c x mah = max discharge rate, 4.2v max per cell, 3.0-3.5v min (stay above 3.2v for safety) lol, i was digging around though my phone and found voltage readings for min/max/power off, etc. ontop of that, a soft pack would be easiest to tell if it is going bad..... heat and the cell puffing.

or you can leave it to the chinese kids to build our li-ion packs because modding any pack without matching the cells to be discharged in parallel could eventually be dangerous....

i need the battery to have the voltage protection on there already and cell phone batteries have that. if discharge rates were different the first battery would fully discharge current would cut off due to the safety system and the second battery would finish the job. same with when it charges

edit;
i didnt fully understand what you posted earlier, no, the cell phone cells (single battery pack) do not have cut offs, hence the phone warning you it has a low battery and will shut off, the phone has that. if the battery did, they wouldnt be so cheap

they have the cut offs ive checked they have a chip that regulates cutoff for max and min voltage. ive done the necessary research
