Help Custom Facebook syncing?

Hi guys,

I love syncing Facebook contacts with my gmail ones. But I also want to utilize HTC Sense Facebook so I can use the Friends Steam and other features. However I don't want stupid Facebook events synced to my agenda/calendar (ie People's Birthdays).

Anyone know how to bypass this?

I've looked into this myself and have not been able to find a solution.

I just ended up taking out my account from "HTC Facebook Sense" and adding it to just regular facebook app.

The calendar is too important to me.
