Root Custom.iso/USB mount issues

Hi, I'm running Isaac's 11/25 MIUI build, which is the latest one to my knowledge, but I cannot view my SD card when connecting the phone to the computer via USB. Yes, I have selected to "mount storage" in the notification at the top.

I read that in the root directory, in /hidden/ there should be a custom.iso file for the triumph which automatically boots when connecting via USB. Right now, a CD drive shows up when I connect the USB but when I click it, it says "Windows can't access the disk."

That custom.iso file isn't anywhere to be found on my phone, perhaps for MIUI it isn't needed? My question is, can someone upload the custom.iso file so that I can try it and see if it lets me install the "Phone F Drivers"? I never got to install those, which is perhaps why this isn't working properly.

Thanks, I am aware of that--but would you or anyone be able to upload for me the custom.ISO file from your phone as mentioned above so that I can test my theory and see if it works?
 
Actually you would have to find someone with a stock rom because I may be wrong but I don't think it's on other roms
 
Bump. Anyone?? I'd put the stock rom back on myself, only that won't bring back the custom.iso file. If someone with that file still on their phone could graciously upload it (it's only about 4 MB) and send me a link, that would be much appreciated. The Phone F Drivers are nowhere to be found on the internet, and the custom.iso file *should* let me install them when I connect via usb.

The file is located in the root directory in the folder /hidden/custom.iso. Please help, anyone!

What he's saying is that when he plugs in his phone, his "MOBILE" partition that's supposed to have the drivers in it says "Windows can't access the disk". My phone does the same thing since they sent me a replacement. He's looking for the place where that partition is kept(custom.iso), so he can fix the mobile partition. I'm not sure if custom.iso contains anything related to that though. Any help with this? I've been wanting to fix this for a while now.
 
The only thing in the custom iso is the f drivers that i posted the link for. Custom roms like Miui and CM7 don't include them cause they are not needed after initial install. All you have to do is download the file from that link plug your phone into usb then run the drivers from the zip.

Thanks, yes this is exactly what's happening to me, and I'm still not sure if it works because I still don't have the custom.iso file, which would at least let me access that partition.

Thanks for the link you gave--I installed the drivers and they didn't seem to fix the issue, though. Viewing the SD card via USB worked on this phone before, but since I got a new computer recently, and then flashed a new ROM (MIUI), my computer has no way of knowing where the mobile partition is, since it's not there anymore. I'm thinking that simply putting the custom.iso will resolve this, though I don't know how/why. Just acting on a hunch.

Nevermind!!! I fixed it. I'll post below how I did it for anyone suffering from the same issue.
 
Okay, so this is how I fixed it--I installed the drivers from the link above, thanks to jdt265. I ran it for each unknown android device that was detected (for me, a total of 4. 1 ADB device, and 3 other Android USB devices), and they installed properly. However, still no removable disk showed up after mounting into USB mode from the phone.

I went into the disk manager (click start, then type "disk manage" then click "create and format hard disk partitions" if you're running Win 7), and if you're having the same issue I was having, you'll see that there is a removable drive listed with no Drive letter assigned. Right click, assign any drive letter to it, then start USB mode from your phone and it should work. I still can't access the CD drive partition in which the custom.iso file should be, but since I have the drivers, that doesn't matter.

Perhaps the Phone F Drivers .msi installer from the custom.iso also mounts the removable disk and assigns a letter, whereas installing the drivers manually does not? That's my assumption for why this wasn't working. Anyways, thanks all for the help, and best of luck to anyone who has been wanting to fix this issue. :)
