Root Custom kernels for CM roms?

I've been leaning toward AOSB as my daily driver, but being CM-based, Franco isn't compatible with it. Are there any good alternatives for battery life optimization?

A quick search only brought up info from months ago which I take as a bad sign.

Thanks! "CAF" was the key phrase I was missing while searching. An XDA list had Chaos and TeamAT Next Kernel. ElementalX didn't have CAF or CM tags so I didn't look at it, but I think I'll try that first

Franco now claims to work with CM. I'm using t on my Nexus 7 with Tamasek's Unofficial CM11 V5o and it works fine.

EDIT: Oops. Not universal. The Nexus 7 (2012) version is compatible with CM 11, but doesn't say that on the changelog for Nexus 5. Sorry.

Well, I tried ElementalX, Chaos, and Next and they all resulted in odd behavior (continuous FC or default action popup). I must have something going on I need to look into. Thanks for the suggestions

Look for anything that is CM/CAF-based, which should work fine on CM ROMs.
