Hi Guys,
Recently upgraded from a HTC Hero to a HTC Sensation XE and so far I love it! Just one thing...
Have had a look through the other threads but I cant find a solution. Feel free to correct me if I missed it!
Basically I downloaded Ringdroid and cut a sound clip out of an audio file to use as my tone when receiving texts.
The file seems fine and is in the list for Notification Sounds, when I press it to hear it, it works fine. It is selected in this list but when I get a text message I still hear the normal tone.
Does anyone know why this is? I did find one thread (http://androidforums.com/htc-hero/8071-custom-message-tone-wont-play.html) which sounds like my problem. However the only reply suggested it's a custom SMS app causing a problem, which I don't have, and then the user fixed it himself but didn't say how.
Any ideas?
