Root Custom notification backgroud

I was just wondering if we can change the background of the notification drop box thing lol i dont know the name :b im running bobz rom for the lg motion and iv tried doing it with rom toolbox but nothing happens

Not sure what you mean, but a picture would help

I'm pretty sure he means the background for the notification tray. I've seen it on custom ROMs for other phones. Instead of plain, you could put a picture or design behind your notifications.

yea the aokp rom by hk had that option built in to settings i think. too bad that hasn't gotten developed more.

yes you can, there was another thread about this somehwere. go to drawable-mdpi in the system file and the file that your looking for is called status_bar_background2 and you change that to whatever pattern you want but keep the dimensions the same. you can also change the one under metro pcs when you slide down and match it, looks good
