Help Custom notification Sound

I recently downloaded a mp3 for my SMS to play when I recieve a message. I currently am using for texting the Handcent SMS program that I downloaded. When I go into the notifications area of the phone and I try to change my default notification all I see the standard ringtones that come with the phone. There is no way to add a new tone under the notifcation menu...


Anybody having the same problem?

Same issue here. I came from a Dinc and I could easily choose a custom notification tone just as I could a custom ringtone. With the TB, I'm not sure this is even possible. If so, how? Thanks for posting, I was coming here to ask the same question...

I have a folder on my sdcard called 'music'. Handcent see this folder
and I can choose the mp3 in that folder for my notifications.
