Root Custom Recovery Clockwork Mod and Modified 3e

Over and Over and Over again I have replaced the recovery file in /system/bin and rebooted phone then Installed Rom Manager then clockwork custom recovery rebooted into custom recovery and each time im taken back to stock recovery So I wipe everything and try again anyone have a clue what Im doing wrong ....


Rooted Samsung 4g I know how to use adb shell I would prefer command line options

Already Bricked it once and had to use GTG's_Ultimate_Unbrick
 
I can not really tell if you are doing anything wrong, but make sure you follow the directions totally. You may also be replacing the recovery image with the wrong one. That is really all i can say, but do not give up! If you can not figure it out, then just search on google and look at another website. I had to do that.

Do not worrry just hit reinstall packages on the stock recovery....then wait as it reinstalls packages...and nothing will change. You'll be back to stock recovery. Hit reinstall packages again...and feast your eyes on clockworkmod recovery ;)

Basically reinstall packages twice after installing cwm recocery from rom manager. That shud permenently make ur default recovery cwm. cheers
