-I am using the "Zedge" app from the market for the custom ringtones.
-I know it works because I can alter the DEFAULT ringtone.
-ALL my contacts are Motorola contacts (not sure how to make Google contacts).
-Other threads said I need to remove the -,+,(,), et cetera from numbers
-I cannot find a setting to remove the non-numeric characters
-one thread said to change to English(UK); I only have CA and US.
-I tried to use the "Contact Clean-Up" app; Doesn't have any effect
-every user manual and online resource made by Google is very irrelevant.
-using android 2.3.6.
What I'm looking for:
Either a way to remove the non-numeric characters from the contacts and troubleshoot further by using an app, changing a setting/language OR directly fix the problem with the custom ringtones by downloading an app or changing a setting.
