I don't flash new ROMs as often as I used to when I owned the OG Droid, and I find the rooting options for the Rezound to be a bit confusing with all the unique options (S-ON vs S-OFF; ICS vs ICS Global; Sense 3.6 vs Sense 4.0). Amidst figuring out whether any particular ROM will work with my S-ON/3.14.605 device, I hate that I also have to deal with the headache of what 3rd party software is (in)compatible with each ROM. As a result, I wanted to start a thread where people can share their results of what apps/settings work with a given custom ROM so that others can refer to this list to help narrow down choices based on their personal needs.
Post format should indicate specific custom ROM/version (a link would be ideal), and a set list of items with one item per line followed by a Yes/No for compatibility. Add a new post for each ROM you have experience with. I will get things started with the three ROMs I have recently tried. As you can see, NONE of them offered compatibility with all 4 apps I like to use fairly often!
I will update the OP with the most up to date list of apps to check for compatibility -- if there are specific apps you would like others to confirm, add them to your post(s) and I will update the OP accordingly. The list so far includes:
Camera
Google Wallet
WiFi Tether
WatchESPN
Thanks for your help in determining which ROMs handle the apps we use on a frequent basis! (Developers, feel free to use this compatibility list to see what features we would most like to see working, but regardless, we appreciate your contribution to the community!)
