Root Custom Rom for revolutionary root

KMV77

Lurker
Did the revolutionary root on my T-bolt. Looking for a custom ROM or Kernel that others have used. Also how do I get the android wifi? I searched the ap market and it is not there.
Thanks,
Kevin

I moved this to the All Things Root section where you'll get more responses.

For a list of ROMs and kernels check out the Thunderbolt ROM List

Wireless Tether is included as a system app in almost every custom ROM.

Hope this helps and congrats on rooting. Welcome to the dark side :D

Welcome indeed. I'm running ShiftS3ns3 1.5 by DroidTh3ory and love it.. Great battery life, performance, and stability.

I'm running the soab bamf sense 3.5 ROM. It is very stable so far.

so, for kernels.. can you basically mix and match them with whatever roms, as you please? or will certain kernels only work with certain roms?

because i am looking for a way to improve battery life in cm7 1.8. i mean, it's good, but it still drains fairly quickly, even with my extended battery

edit: i just looked at the rom/kernel thread and saw kernels were labeled as sense and AOSP so I have answered my own question. now to find a kernel to improve battery life!

Also for some AOSP roms, like the newest CM7, some of the older kernels do not work at all. Not sure if the same is true for any sense roms/kernels.
