Root Custom ROM Issue

I'm using my phone on a Sprint MVNO, not Boost. I built my ROM in android kitchen and it works good aside from a tow things.

1. I've removed Boost Zones and for some reason cannot dial, through the dialer, 611 for customer care. I need to use the default contact in contacts. I've searched and haven't found anyone else with the same problem. Also, is there a way to remove those default contacts?

2. Hands free activation keeps initiating. What app controls it and is there a way to disable it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I cant really help you but I would love to do that. Make a ROM like that does it work with our phone? I'm sorry if you said that but I have no idea what "Sprint MVNO" I dont know if thats a phone or what but I can help doing whatever you need.

its not the rom that would make an MVNO work that is just a matter of programming. MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) it means you are still using sprints network, but paying someone else, who then pays sprint to use their equipment. like how straight talk uses everyone elses networks to provide their service, they dont actually own any towers they just rent part of the ones that are already there
as far as the dialing 611 thing i dont know, are you sure thats the proper number to be dialing? not *611 or something?
now as far as removing the contacts im not sure really, they are built in somehow and ive never had the need to remove them
and as far as hands free activation, have you tried adding DEVICE_PROVISIONED=1 to the build.prop?

That's the number, I tested it by loading a stock backup. *611 doesn't work either.

I'll look in build prop for the line. I did get it to stop by changing User name in data profile so might not be needed. But thanks for the response.

Now just need to find the default contacts location.

well the stock number might not work, seeing as you arent using boost. you are sure that the number programmed into contacts works? and if so, check to see what that number is exactly, dialing it normally should have the same effect
dunno how to delete those contacts as i said if they wont allow you to just delete them normally like you would any other contact.
and d34dbre4kr, no...
this phone is connected to sprints network and without hacking the hell out of it which is technically illegal it cannot connect to verizons network, and even if you do connect you cant use their service they have heightened security that prevents you from doing things like that, or so i heard from a friend... XD
but anyway, so yea there is that stuff, and then on the at&t front they use completely different technology, sim cards on a gsm network, this phone couldnt even kinda work on at&t, t-mobile, or any gsm carrier. the only reason his phone works on a different carrier is because it is still all sprint stuff, hes just paying a middle man instead of sprint, and they pay sprint. in essense he is using the exact same service as us hes just paying different people
