Root Custom ROM ---> Stock ROM

does anybody have a step-by-step for reverting back to the stock rom after installing, say, skyraider? i am new to rooting and i had cyanogenmod and i couldn't figure how to get back to the stock rom so i completely unrooted. now that i am rooted again i would like to give skyraider a try. im wondering if there is an easier way to uninstall a rom and try another without having to completely unroot and then reroot every time. if anybody has anything that could help me out i would greatly appreciate it! thanks!!

Just go into recovery and create a nandroid backup before you flash skyraider, that way, you can just restore it back to how you had it before you flashed over the new rom.

If all else fails, you can always get back to completely stock by following the steps in the following post.

That's what i did after I realized that the Rom i had was a little too nexus style for me but before I realized i could create a nandroid backup of my stock Rom. Thanks for your help guys!
