Root Custom Roms = No IMEI / No Service??

I have an Unlocked Droid 3, using AT&T
I am using Safestrap
I have tried quite a number of Roms, one of em is Steel Droid v5.5 (ICS)

But everytime I use a Custom Rom, it cannot find any network service. It wont display an IMEI. It's kinda weird, thought, cause when I switch back to stock rom, it works perfectly again.

It's been very frustrating... Any Help?

The Droid 3's SIM card is locked. Even if you get an unlock code from Verizon, it is only unlocked internationally; it is country locked in the US.

So, if stock is working, you did something to the phone to get past this. What steps did you follow to do this?

I suspect that you're just missing changes that must be made to the build.prop file to fully enable GSM.
