Root custom roms not installing, after several flashes

Last one I flashed was Simply Stunning, previously I was using NexBeast v1.1, I liked that one a lot, but wanted to try some others. Simply Stunning I had to install w/ update.zip method, other one with Rom Mgr. Anyways I tried flashing Steam Rom 4.0.6.1 with Rom Mgr, clearing data and cache, and when I restarted phone to log in, I got to the "finish" button, and got a force close on installation app. Since then every rom I try to flash yields the same result, when I almost finish logging phone into google, I get a force close. I can reflash a recovery image, and everything is fine, but not start anew. I've wiped data and reset phone as well, still can't log in.

Any help?
thanks,
