Help Custom Text Tones disappearing

I made custom textones from files that I took off my pc. They stay set for awhile but then randomly stop working as if the file doesn't exist. I can go to astro file manager and find the actual file and move it to a different folder and then suddenly it works again. This is very annoying and so far HTC customer service hasn't been helpful. They pretty much said it isn't their problem. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks

I can't even seem to get mine to give me the option to use my custom text tones. Ringtone was easy... Notifications is a little bit trickier.

I can't even seem to get mine to give me the option to use my custom text tones. Ringtone was easy... Notifications is a little bit trickier.

I created a file structure on the sdcard with media/audio/ringtones and media/audio/notifications, placing the ringtones and notifications files in the appropriate directories. I was then able to see and use the new notification files.
