Help Custom tones for SMS

[jasonacg]

Now that we're a month in to the official 2.1...

Is there a way to have individual alert tones for different SMS contacts, just like you can have different ringtones for voice contacts?

no that I know but there's probably an app for that

Rings Extended is what I use. You can use this app for Text ringtones, Notifications, Alarms, etc. Its great
