Ok, so I want to customize my phone with having the custom apps and the lock screen like the nexus one has. However, My phone isn't rooted and I have the new 2.1 leak on my phone (yea, I'm kicking myself for not rooting right now). To customize my phone, I either need to download apps from the market place and pay for them, or wait till I can get root.
So my question is, should I buy the apps from the market now or should I wait till root comes out? How long do you think it would take for root to come out? I've been over at xda-developer for a while just keeping up with everything, though I don't know how long it'd take them to get root. What's your take on it?
