I ordered the offset droid. I thought it was supposed to be a whole piece to cover the back of the screen. I am not going to take off my existing plastic. I dunno kinda confused.....

nope... the droid offset is just that. there is a two color version as well which would actually replace the entire factory film. (sounds like that may be what you want?)

Do not worry about taking off the factory protective film...this topic has been beat to death, it is meant to be removed and will not cause you any issues!

My Droid currently has the exact same setup as what you ordered... (this pic is from page 1 and it has the description of what it is).

Hi, I want to buy a vinyl for the slide out screen for my droid. I want the decal that says droid in the text that is on the droid boot animation. Is there anyway to preview the colors. What does it look like when its transparent with dark smoke? Thanks.

transparents are see-through... i would NOT recommend any transparents on a dark surface, as you will barely see them. If you head to our vinyl page you can take a look at our color swatches to get a pretty good idea of each color we offer.

Thanks for a great product! After nearly 7 weeks for repairs, I just got my DROID back and I was so excited I decided to purchase some upgrades for it.

Here is what I've put together:

Color Overlay (White)
"M" Overlay (Red)
Back of Slider Offset (White Android Robot on Red Background)

I like the little Android popping out in gold too but I am a copper fanatic. Copper would look so pretty against a black background. Maybe some sparkle in the copper? Like shiny sandstone? Oooh!

Is there any way to see a better sample of the back colors than those teensie weenie swatches on the web site? I can't get any sense of how my phone would look with midnight blue versus arctic blue versus blue. For $12 I want to get it right.

Option 3: Droid Text Style
Background: black
Inlay Color: copper

OR

is there a way to just get word "DROID" in copper and keep my stock black sticker as I do not see that as an option. Just the words "DROID" in a color of choice?

also, my current OEM black cover sticker seems decent quality, not sure why people think it is cheap. Anyway, mine DOES have 2 slider rub marks (1 on each side of the phone) so I guess that means mine is pretty snug? Would I then expect my overlay from you to rub as well?

the first option is what you want. If you want just the Droid text, you'll have to submit a custom order as that is not currently one of our normal product options. I recommend peeling off the OEM film and applying our decals, they will look better and last longer. This should have no effect on your slider.
