Help Customizing a folder name help please?

I've done multiple searches and can't find the answer. Is there a way to actually name a folder? I really appreciate any help. Thanks
 
A folder on the homescreen? Open the folder, then long press the top bar where it says "Folder", it will let you rename it. If you are talking about a folder on the SD card, get an app like Astro, navigate to the folder and long press it. Or just connect to a PC and rename it there.
