Customizing the Drop Down Menu

[notphillip]

Hey Guys,
So I started getting to the in depth customization of the android home screen a little while ago. I got Nova Launcher and Zooper Widget to re-do my home screen several times, but when I started to look for a comparable app to mod the Samsung Drop down menu, I found nothing.
Does anyone know of an app that does this, or is it possible to hack the OS to get something different?

Just curious.

If you root your phone you can install xposed framework. With that you can install modules that allow you to theme the drop down.

Yeah root is your only option. A normal app cant touch the notification panel

I have tried to root my phone before, but to no success. Whenever I use rooting apps, it just fails to root. I have the I9300 model. I am assuming it is my phone messing it up but I'm not actually sure.
