Help Cut / Paste problem

First of all sorry for my bad english but i really need help.

Soo today i was copping my pictures from phone ( Lg G3 Android 5.0 V20h ) Method Cut / Paste.
Dialog windows has appeared then just disappeared. I was thinking that okk, so once again from phone to hdd... But in the phone no DCIM folder and on a PC just EMPTY folder :/
Is it any chance to recover it ? Or Do I need to search for a software to recover lost files from phone?

Hi!
I would surmise if you are using the "Cut/Paste" method, they are gone if they didn't appear on your PC.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but in the future, use either the "Copy/Paste" option, or the drag/drop method to transfer pix from your device to PC.
