Root Cutom ROM with working GPS?

Modaco has been the most stable for me with regard GPS

I updated to villain5.5 last night will try on the way home tonight and see how the gps and navgator works, if no good I will download and flash mocado.

Had to reflash the latest radio zip as the gps wouldn't work until I did. Fine now though.

i haven't done this as yet, so might try this tonight if GPS is still playing up.

Modaco seems a preferred choice - not sure myself - any views.

MoDaCo works, simple as that. Think of it as the stock ROM with all the fat and lag cut out. Only problem for the OP is that it's not 2.1 based so Google Nav and the other 1.6+ apps won't work.

If people are on Orange, there's OrangeMaps which is a decent enough satnav utility, and appears very up-to-date with new roads etc

You were right. Tried nearly all of them now, and keep going back to good, old, dependable Modaco3.2

Yeah, just got it tweaked to something I prefer

I have to admit, I've not used Modaco in a while. But as soon as he comes out with MCR 4 I'll be switching straight to it.
