Root cwm 2.5.1.8. help

Ive been trying to install icarus 1.1 but having bad luck. i have 3.0.0.5 cwm and cant seem to get 2.5.1. ive looked everywhere even here...

when i click the links it takes me to a new site and i cant find it there. ive googled it and everything. i have everything else i need except this. i tried to install with 3.0.0.5 but it says install aborted... please help.

Redownload the zip file from http://androidforums.com/ascend-all-things-root/320265-ultimate-ascend-customization-guide.html. Unzip it into a new folder and rename it or add 2.5.1.8 so you know which one it is. Then install it to your phone using the instructions that TotenPoke provided in his thread.

thanks. Am I going to need to delete 3.0.0.5? How if so
. Through applications or sd card? I wont be able to try till tomorrow so im just trying to get all thw info straight.

Following the instructions for installing 2.5 should overwrite 3.0. You have to do the fastboot method. You can't just copy from sd card. I'm sure you will love Icarus when you get it on.

when im in terminal command it says mount not found... wtf this is crazy... ive hacked all kinds of things and this damn metro phone is giving me problems haha

ok.. so... i found out that my spacingwas wrong BUT when i enter the

./flash_image recovery recovery.img it says permission denied..

Nowhere on TokenPoke's instructions for installing CMW does it say open a Terminal window. Read the directions again.
