Does anyone have the Odin flashable clockworkmod? It seems that the original links are down. I need this as quickly as possible, I have a friend coming from out of town for me to root his Prevail later today

that's a zip that's flashable through cwm. I need it in tar.md5 format so I can flash it through odin

I dont know how to convert files .
just follow the root for dummies guide, the rooted image will also install cwm

I have two galaxy prevails that I want to root and flash after I broke my first one. neither one will flash... heimdall gives me libusb errors, and windows doesn't recognize either one of the phones (tries multiple computers) so Odin is out of the question... any ideas?

You said you've rooted before? Did you uninstall the last drivers? Conflict! Try to get rid of any Samsung software on the pc. Than reinstall and see If Odin will read that bad boy.
