OK i found this clockwork mod recovery for the samsung admire here on this link,

That site is legit and everything, but i have some questions, also before i start i'm a newbie to rooting and stuff. I'd love to hear/learn from you guys. Anyways here we go! :

1. What do you have to download to have this 100% Working so i don't brick my phone?

2. I created a small theme on UOT Kitchen, about 3.5mb. I need this to 'flash' the zip or something right?

3. What does 'flashing' a .zip mean?

4. How do i download the .img into my phone so CWM Recovery works?

5. How do i go into download mode?

The best thing that would happen would be a youtube tutorial or a lengthened tutorial, since i'm new to this.

1. First, the threads you read about rooting your phone will have all the info, drivers, and downloads that you will need to properly root your phone. Check the stickies in this forum for rooting. Once you root read the thread about cwr. It will tell you how to install, get into download mode and how to flash the .img file. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine.
2. In order to flash a zip, you have to boot into cwr, go to install zip, find your theme zip on your SD card and install.
 
as was stated, if you read the threads where you get the downloads directions are given. in most cases in the first post, always fully explained and most trouble shooting done in the first page. if you ask specifc questions with in the threads yoiure much more likely to get a helpful answer.
