Root CWM Screen

I am having a hard time trying to flash anything. The root worked fine. I pushed clockworkMod through Rom Manager and updated BusyBox, with my Titanium. Everything seems good. I removed the PG05 file off my card because it kept trying to update that when i tried to flash the file i wanted.

So here is where I have trouble. The Clock Work Mod screen use to be a green or Red ( with Voodoo) screen and many options, for me. I do not get in to that now. Everything is done on this bootloader screen, correct?

And there my only options are to do whats on that screen. So i press power button on Boot loader option and it tries to update the PG-file that isn't there. I'm really confused to what is going on. Or not going on.. Any help would be great! I thought it would run the zip that is there? And is the clock work screen that I was use to not like that anymore with this phone?

I read something about S on and S off. Mine says it is on when i am on the bootload screen. Is there a way to switch off, as i read somewhere you can not flash kernels with it on. All the info i find is in pieces. I can not get it together for one comprehensive reading.

Here is whats happening. I re rooted and watched closely. The video , The guy says the PG file is 459 mb when you change the RUU to PG05. Mine is too. But later when it has to go on again, He says it is 399. Mine is not. How did it change? Also, When i flash it again, That is when the S-off reverts back to S-on. Is this suppose to happen?

There are two RUU files. The first is the downgrade RUU which is the larger file. Next you delete that file off of your sdcard and load the custom RUU and flash via the bootloader. You'll have to start from that point to the end to get full root privileges and CWR.

Wat is your software number? Sounds like maybe you flashed the downgrade ruu a second time?

Also, note that you cannot get directly into CWM. To get there from hboot, you'll need to select the "recovery" option using volume keys and the power button.

One last thing... Be.very careful flashing things via a security off bootloader. It will try and flash any file that is named PB05IMG,and flashing something you shouldn't can cause very bad things to happen

Thanks Scotty. I did get it. I was using the same PG file twice. I didnt realize I had to do two different ones. To go back to stock i just redo the same process, the wrong way like i was doing? lol
