Root CWM wierd issue????

Hello all. Right now i am running rooted stock rom 2.2.1 and I am having trouble mounting my sd card in cwm recovery. I can mount my sd card while the phone is operating but I cannot when i want to make a backup or when i want to flash basix. I have flashed between roms before and have applied electric sheep with basix. Could this be from the latest rom manager update?
 
i do not use rom manager. heard it caused problems with our indulge. not sure if this is the cause of your problem though, sorry.

Since you don't use rom manager what color is your cwm? Green, purple, orange??? I get 2 different cwm recoverys.... I get a purple if I reboot into recovery with the hold down power screen... and another (orange) when I rebbot into recovery using rom manager. The purple one dosnt seem to wannna let me unzip files.
 
yes mike i have both purple and orange. I also do use rom manager. Either way i boot into recovery i still have the same problem. i can put a previous backup on my sd card but either way i cant use it since i cant mount my sd card while in recovery. I have written the developers but I still havent had any feedback but ill keep my progress updated

Hmmm... wish I could help you out. So when you go to install zip from sd card (in orange cwm) there's nothing there or you don't even have that option? Or what happens when you go to backup/restore?

Dont have a spare sd card should i just wipe and reformat mine. i have all my data saved alread i just didnt want to wipe my card.

If that's the case then by all means format it. If it still doesn't work, before buying a new one, check if you have any friends with a minisd card and ask if you can test out theirs on the spot to see if that error still pops up.
If it still doesnt work then Odin it and reflash cwm.
 
Thanks everyone yeah i formatted my memory card last night and everything started to work fine. Now i got a backup and flashed back to Basix
 
Moral of the story: it's not always the phone's fault! ;D
Glad to know you're doing fine now!
