Hi

ive just installed checkrom revoHD v6 along with siyah v12. I rebooted the phone & now want to install LBP modem, however when i run CWM (v3) i cannot get this to reboot into recovery mode, it says "

This version of CWM manager should be used with CF-Root v5.0. It appears you are running a different kernal"


what am i doing wrong??

are you sure you're on siyah? Sounds like you're on neak to me.
Do it via the power key menu instead, or by switching it off and rebooting directly into cwm by pressing vol-up+home+power and release when you see something come on screen.
 
Some kernels just don't play too nicely with the cwm app. If you've set up jkay to add reboot into recovery in the power menu (hold power for a couple of seconds) then use that to boot into recovery and flash manually. If not turn off your phone and boot into recovery manually.

i had neak but installed revo v6 & siyah.

so i have installed hawker's gs2bltzerv1.5 & re-installed siyah2.6.12

when running cwm im still getting the error.


"This version of CWM manager should be used with CF-Root v5.0. It appears you are running a different kernal"

Also titanium backup pro says it could not acquire root privileges, verify your rom is rooted.

Im on checkrom revoHd v6.

Is it worth using hawkers gs2 rom nuke script?
 
You have lost root. It happened to me when I flashed crr6. You will have to go back to a cwm backup or reroot

took 3 attempts to root, phone would not re-boot after it completed.

all now working fine, checkrom v6, siyah v12 LBH modem.
