Root Cyanogen and dropping calls?

I have had a lot of issues lately with dropping calls and it started since I installed Cyanogen. I'll be on the phone chatting away and it just becomes quiet and I'm not on the phone anymore with that phone.

Or it will actually vibrate and I'll be kicked off the phone.

I'm still running Cyanogen Rc3 if that matters.

Anyone else have this experience / know of a solution?

i might have run into this problem the other day. i'm using CM6 stable. I haven't eliminated user error yet but it is something i'm watching for.

I thought the same at first until it started becoming a regular issue. I can't hold a phone call for more than 20 minutes without dropping it at least once.

The only problem I've had with CM6 Stable is trouble swiping to answer calls, it often takes 7 seconds to connect after I swipe to answer :/

I have not had these issues. I'm running CM6 stable. Is the screen turning on while you're talking? I noticed my phone seems to work well with the proximity sensor, but my wife has trouble with hers. It's been that way since she's had it (rooted or not).

I'll put my phone on the home screen and actually still drop calls.
