Root Cyanogen Guide HTC Wildfire S

Marvelc phones don't have a working version. But Marvel phones do have Cyanogen roms which work fine and which I quite like:)
You should have a look at Alquez's CM and see if it's something you would like
I currently have the 7.1 as the 7.2 still had quite a few glitches but that was a couple of months ago. Maybe it works fine now

Hi Caro,
I've got this CM7.2 installed. What are the glitches you're referring to?
My only problem seems to be the Bluetooth issue.
In most cases, when I switch on bluetooth, my device reboots.
I know it's because of the kernel (am now on 2.6.35.13 from Alquez) but I don't know which better or improved kernel to install to solve the Bluetooth issue.

Hi DDB75,

Apart from Bluetooth issue, check Camera video, Other Normal Video files and Youtube and also screen unlock time( w/o struggling).

Since I had those issues....

I have been running 7.2 (latest build) since the day it was launched. The YouTube/video issues were fixed in this release and bluetooth does not seem to be a problem, although I don't use it much, and Alquez claims to have fixed it with the new kernel.

Camera and video work fine for me.

For me, at least, this is a brilliant daily driver for my phone. The only 'glitch' I have had so far was gmail stopped working but that was my fault for being over zealous in deleting hundreds of contacts at once and screwing sync up. Other than that I'm really pleased with it.

Ok. I understand you have no problem with it.

I Installed the CM7.2 from the link you refferred only(on July 5th), here it is: Downloads - cm7-wildfire-s - Unofficial Cyanogenmod 7 port for HTC Wildfire S - Google Project Hosting

and now your option is this one below right...?
cm-7-20120717-UNOFFICIAL-marvel.zip - cm7-wildfire-s - Cm-7.2 bugfix update. - Unofficial Cyanogenmod 7 port for HTC Wildfire S - Google Project Hosting

And one more thning, What about CM 9?
Does it worth of daily use...?

Yes, that's the one. As for CM9, I think that does have a couple of deal breakers - and is nowhere near as viable as CM 7.2. When it is more stable, I'll give it a go. I'm following the development thread on XDA with interest - it's not far off:)

Installed CM9 Alpha 7 successfully.....I like it very much.!!! Looks fine.
Thanks for the suggestion.:congrats:
