What are you using and did you try Rom Manager?

Rom Manager is an app in the app market just in case u didnt know

This is true but if you're looking for nightlies u need the license to rom manager. But if you're looking for a stable build you can find them here http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/files/category/12-htc-evo/

Cuban posted the website sorry I dnt know how to install them like that and I still don't know what kernals is lmao never tried them

I would recommend doing some reading up on kernels and even cm. Not just for knowledge but for better control/use of your phone

very true i need to i know basic stuff n da other stuff i learned from playing around wit it u dig but ima definitely look into learning more

i tryed rom manger then downloaded Cyanogen mod booted into clockwork recovery and the the rom file was no where to be found any ideas?

Rom manager installs it for you I don't understand and always make a backup before you install anything
This. ^^

If rom manager doesn't prompt u to flash the rom then it 1.Didn't finish or 2. Something just went wrong. Start the download over and when finished just pull down the notification bar and tap on and bingo bango you'll be asked wat the next step should be (backup and/or wipe)

Exactly lol

Yup its supposed to be that way. Google asked cyanogen to take their Google apps out of hos rom socnow we must download and flash known as gapps. It should be on that same page I posted. If not just look for the add on section. Don't flash the rom and gapps in the same session tho.
