Cyanogen SD help

I just installed Cyanogen using my 2gb sd card as my 16 gb sd card doesnt like my computer as its sdhc. When i put the 16GB card in the phone it locks up and after it rebooted itself a couple times it just said that it was still checking for errors. the card had an existing ext2 partition that i used with jf 1.5.1 . How do i fix this and make the phone recognize the card?

Well the only problem with that is my card reader isnt working properly and i need to get data off the card first too with no way of getting at it

Well you cant fix a sdcard without a working r/w adapter ... either external or the phone ... so suggest you buy a cheapy SDcard at RadioShack that comes with s free reader ....

Copy all your stuff off on to the pc in a folder ...

Then re-format with FAT32...

If you are going to ever put an ext partition on it ... do that now as a EXT3 partition at approx 800MB to 1 GB ....

Paragon Partition Magic is the best tool IMO ...

With the ext3 partition CyanogenMod will automatically move you apps to sdcard and configure system for Apps2SD operation ...
