You need to be rooted and have TWRP installed (normally, not switched up)

CURRENT BETA 2
https://www.mediafire.com/?t90a1x2epx8sibq
md5sum 3332a56d4b8d1610ae5550af588504f5

INSTRUCTIONS (all done in TWRP with out restarting)
DO A BACKUP IF HAVE NOT DONE ONE YET
FACTORY WIPE
INSTALL ROM
INSTALL GAPPS

do not restore data in TWRP from another ROM or older version, the DATA partition has a lot of OS related system stuff in it, use a backup and restore utility like Titanium Backup, to just back up you apps, app data, messages, call log, etc, etc,

If you have sensor issues (the screen goes black when you receive a phone call) flash this zip in TWRP

Odd... but had to use a switcher to download .img files through chrome anyone else notice or having issues useing apps like Zedge to download wallpaper they also fail but now with write permission I can DL fine

unblock the write system protection

I knew about that the same day the phone got rooted, it does not unlock the write protection, write protection is still active when you boot from the boot partition

the fix is just a work around,

Thanks for all the work everyones put into this. Im gonna flash now and if all goes well I'll report back with how amazing this rom is.

I made the mistake of flashing over GAPPS with the rom and now my phone is barely working. Constant error notifications (Setup Wizard, Google Play services crashing) and the Google account sync is messed up. Just a warning for all. It's my mistake - can be fixed but will take time!

I did that with the alpha ROM. You gotta flash GApps on the first flashing after CM13 before you boot up. Good thing to bring to our attention.

I'm noticing that some apps can't read or write to the internal storage or SD card without root access. When I change my backup folder location in titanium backup to the external SD it says the folder isn't writeable. Poweramp can't read the contents of my SD card. Root explorer has to be granted root access before it can read internal storage and external SD.

Edit: I also checked in settings-apps, and all 3 apps were already granted permission to access the storage.

is this something new in beta 2 or has it always been like this

There seems to be an issue that has persisted since the alpha stuff where after being connected to WiFi for a while, and eventually disconnecting, will lead to no service. After a few seconds, the bars flicker from full to empty with the LTE sign briefly before going back to no service. A reboot seems to fix this.

Can confirm this has happened to me twice now while running beta 1.

I downloaded and flashed it early this morning around 2am so it might have been beta1 depending on how long ago you posted beta2. The issue with Explorer, I never tried until today. With titanium backup it has always said the external SD was unwriteable since you first got the SD working, even after I edited /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml to allow unrestricted SD access. With Poweramp it turned out to be user error because I restored it with tb and it was looking for /storage/sdcard1 instead of the new path. I cleared data for Poweramp and it can play the music on my SD now.

I noticed if I go threw

/storage/7F5C-1D02

Titanium backup says it is not write able

but if I go threw

/mnt/media_rw/7F5C-1D02

it is writeable

go to figure out why that is

this has something to do with it

root@draconis:/mnt/media_rw # ls -l
total 64
drwxrwx--- 7 media_rw media_rw 32768 1969-12-31 19:00 7F5C-1D02

root@draconis:/storage # ls -l
total 72
drwxrwx--x 7 root sdcard_rw 32768 1969-12-31 19:00 7F5C-1D02
drwx--x--x 4 root sdcard_rw 4096 1971-02-27 14:02 emulated
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 60 1971-03-03 18:05 self

I understand, what I meant is if that would be the source of the problem that when you enter the "Set up your SD card" option on the storage section of the settings, if you select "use as internal storage" after formatting it and tries to place files on it, it gets corrupted; Or is it related to the above problem that the mounting of the micro sd card is missing some links (emulated and root).

Thanks for the support.
