Root cyanogenmod 6.1 problem

i rooted my incredible with unrevoked3 on ubuntu and i used ROM manager to install cyanogenmod 6.1 i backed up my system and everything was fine but now @ booting it just shows the cyanogenmod boot logo and its been booting for a few hours i removed th battery twice and it still is just doing the cyanogenmod boot screen. is this normal or has something gone wrong.

Sounds like something is wrong, are you sure you cleared the cache when you flashed Cyanogen? If not just go back into recovery, clear data/cache and reflash the cyanongen zip. Everything should be fine after that...

k thnx i didnt wipe the fone thats probably y it didnt work.
