I was reading that there is a Galaxy S version for this ROM (please correct me if I'm wrong). Has anyone tried this yet? If so, is there a guide for flashing this ROM out there somewhere? Thanks!

Cyanogen & supercurio have teamed up to build a nexus s port (gingerbread) for the sgs/captivate. That'll be the one worth watching, imo.

(1) The CM port is suspended because its coders are now on the Gingerbread port.
(2) Cyanogen himself isn't doing squat for the SGS. It's Aery and codeworx who deserve the credit so far (and will deserve more when they help finish Ginger).

I wish our phones got more Cyanogen love. My friend has a mytouch slider phone that her husband put CM on and WOW it is freakin' sweet! You know a ROMs pimp when you go into your normal settings page and you see "Cyanogen Mod Settings" along with your display and sound and everything else. I'm actually excited about the CM 2.3 for captivate. They're almost to a stable version actually (subjective determination though, it's probably still far from what I would consider stable), still it's amazing how quickly things are progressing over there.
