Root CyanogenMod 7, which Radio

I remember when I flashed my phone to use a custom ROM that I had to install a new Radio. i can't seem to find any info on that for CM7, so do I assume it's not an issue?

If it is, what version of the Radio should I be using and how do I check which one I have?

Any Froyo compatible radio will work.

You check by looking in the "about phone" menu, software information. It's called "baseband". If the version is X._5.Y then you're fine. But unless you are still using 2.1, you are fine anyway.

Note that version information above assumes your phone is GSM - I don't know CDMA, but then there don't seem to be a lot of radios for CDMA available anyway.

My baseband is reported as:

32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20

So err... does that mean I'm okay? I'm currently running a custom ROM based on Android 2.2.

Yeah, that's a 2.2 radio. Older than any I've used, but I believe it should be OK. Best would be to assume it will work, and upgrade if there is a problem.
