Root CyanogenMod 9 Rom problem

whenever i plug it in to my computer it keeps saying "connected as installer" when i go to try to change it it says "unfortunatly settings has stopped" and then it goes back to the home screen. i was just going to install a diffrent rom but it wont give me access to transfer files to the phone. i dont have an sd card, is there a solution to this problem? thanks in advance.

I, too, have been playing with CM9/ICS. I'm hoping you installed it with SafeStrap and not BootStrap. But anyways, since it's still an alpha build, some things such as SD storage are a bit quirky. Especially if you don't have a micro SD card. Go check out the ICS Fixes/Workarounds thread over in the D3 General area of XDA. This may have been resolved somewhere in there.

Just today, Hashcode apologized via Twitter for the lack of updates for CM9, which gives me a feeling that alpha build 5 can be expected somewhere soon here and, from what I've read over on XDA, the SD card issues may be ironed out soon.
