Like the big words? ;] Lol. Anyways figured i'd make a thread that someone suggested to do for information on how far we are on CM7, CM9, and CM10. I'm hoping Giantpune, Ktb, Rukin, or Julian, (and whoever else is working on the CM Projects currently.) I know it's Christmas time, so I wish everybody a happy holidays and hope it's a good one for you! I hope development picks back up after New Years and we see more enthusiastic customers around here. :] Anyways if you know of any information of how far the builds for any of the 3 capable CM's are on our device plz post here so people can be notified easier about it. The thread is for informational purposes only, not for asking questions. This is AGAIN just to let people know the updates and how far along we are on things. :] I hope to see some information and hope we find a way to get CM to boot soon. Lookin forward to it!

I like π.

That thread is to old. I doubt those devs that the person of that thread had ask never contacted him back.

Update 1:
I was about to post a long paragraph on my status with CM9/holidays only to be logged out when trying to post it. Too lazy to rewrite it now, so the best way I can summaries the lost post is that I will try to work on a build over the holiday break.

May try seeing if CM7 will boot also.

Try to get in touch with giantpune and get his cm7 source. It boots, and mostly everything works, except for messaging and data. There's probably some other stuff as well that needs to be fixed. Just get the source from him. You also have to be running Linux to build from source. If you don't have a Linux OS on your PC, I suggest Ubuntu.

Wait..
Its called a development thread for a reason.

actually i never contacted the dev back, that thread was when we barely got cwm, he wanted to work with other devs which we only had giant pune,

he said he would only help with getting it too boot, but he did need the phone

As for my cm7, its on hold for now just because I need my phone to act like a phone. The development cycle is slow enough with building the rom and installing it and testing things, and then eventually flashing back that it pretty much renders the phone out of commission for a day. Any missed calls and text messages in that time are lost forever, and right now I have some stuff going on that requires a reliable phone, not just a toy.

Well, I'm not going to rush you Mr. Pune. Life, Love, and Job come first, everything else is secondary, and I'd rather wait to have quality rather than try to rush you and get a PoS.

This is a development thread for info only. Not instructions on installing a currently imaginary ROM. That may exist for other phones but not ours yet. So far the most we have is one built but not booting past the LG logo. It just hangs there. You have posted that in like 2 or 3 threads and everyone keeps telling you all we have is stock based roms right now NO CYANOGENMOD YET. Be patient we will have it soon after the holidays.
