Root CyanogenMod Dial pad

Hi everyone,

I currently CM 7.1 from Alquez and in the original dial pad when you start typing in the numbers, contact suggestions would pop up and I used to use that a lot.
But with the CM, it doesn't happen. Is there any setting that can be done so that I can get the contact suggestions again?
I got so used to it that I find annoying having to scroll down my contact list to find the peson I want to call

After running CM7.2 on my Optimus M and now running HTC Sense 2.1, I miss this very much so. HTC has their own version that works, but its not the same.

As far as I know, this is supposed to work on all branches of official Cyanogen. As alquez's branch isn't officiall, it should have been implied that some officially supported items don't work. Of course, it could be that you haven't looked in the proper settings.. (Be sure to hit the "Menu" button in every app! Even system defaults like Dialer!)

Coming from a CDMA phone, and being unable to run alquez's ROM... I might be wrong. Duno GSM much at all.

Yeah I did go to every single possible setting...couldn't find anything
