Root Cyanogenmod updates?

Unless they can magically get cm9 (ics) to work I doubt it..

Almost all bugs have been worked out and new bug reports aren't coming in so no reason for any updates.

Okay so what's the most stable version in terms of what rom to use? Since i first got this ascend(my first smartphone) i been constantly flashing different roms(playfulmod, cm6, cm7,icarus 1.1) and i just cant decide which one to stay on. I love icarus 1.1 but since its running eclair so i cant use all the apps i want, i also like playfulmod because my phone always seemed to run smoothly with minimum to no lag at all when doing certain tasks, i find cm7 pretty good but for some reason the lag i experience such as swyping through screens and opening stuff seems pretty bad to me, and cm6(one that i've decided to stay on for the time being) is pretty good(everything runs pretty nicely and the overclocked kernel helps with some of the games i play but i still get the urge to go back to cm7.2.

I'd go w/the 09132011 build of CM7 & have the CPU settings @ the following :

GOVERNOR: ON DEMAND

CPU MINIMUM: 320 mHz

CPU MAXIMUM: 710 mHz

Hey, Kolio, I see they finally made you a guide! I don't know what took them so long. Congrats, I know you'll be a good one!

CM7.1 was riddled with bugs... it seems to work fine yes but cant compare to TIP or even CM7.2 RC's, especially if you know happen to do something normally that causes FC's due to said bugs (not me, brother-in-law)...

On my HeroC, HD2, EvoShift, CM7.2 blows CM7.1 out of the water in terms of feature enhancements, but most of all performance...

Id love to see a TIP update for any of the major players for CM7, its just night and day for CM7.2 and 7.1
