CyanogenMod

I've just installed CyanogenMod 7 on my Samsung Galaxy s2 and it's pretty cool but I need to know where are the apk files stored from the market and apk files that i've copied over from kies. When I connect the phone to my lappy I can see the apk files that I've copied but cant find them on the phone to install. I install everything on the internal sdcard because I dont as yet have an external sdcard. I'll just give a quick example, I just copied over to the phone a android data on/off widget, it's there when I view the phone on my lappy but cant find it in the phone and yes you can all call me a noob but i'm all new to this great thing so please help cos i'm going mad here

Hey mikeinhull. I'd love to move your message over to the root section for your phone. The users there know your phone well and will be best suited to assist you.
However, there are a number of S2 phones and they each have a unique root area.
If you will tell me your exact S2 model and carrier I will move this to the area where you can get the help you seek.
