Root dailed 804# lost my contact list

so i was dialing a number and went to hit the back space key and hit the # sign. then it poped up and said switching to sim card... I lost my phone list, how to i switch back????

Are your contacts sync'd to your gmail account? If so, I would check your auto-sync settings for gmail and start from there.
