Here's a great thread about using your external sd card to store dalvik cache data:

The best way to go about it is with a dedicated app (some in Play Store get 5 stars, do a search ;)). But if you're command line savvy, using the terminal emulator is clean way to go about it without adding another program to your resource drain.

Here's a video, even ;) :

ok in order to do what you are asking, you need to partition your sd card. once that is done then you will need to flash dark tremors. then you will need to get terminal emulator from the play store.

in te enter this command:
[HIGH]su[/HIGH]
then
[HIGH]a2sd cachesd[/HIGH]

here is the guide you will need:
Guide to DARK TREMOR app2sd script-

edit:i'm gonna move this to the samsung galaxy ace II root forum. never mind frisco beat me to it....LOL

thank you
i follow the instruction to install A2SDGUI script and app . , then i run the App but when move dalvik to sd-ext and reboot then found the dalvik still on the internal memory

i have stock rom android 2.3.5 and kernel version" 2.6.35.7-perf-CL660404" root@DELL123#1
i don't want to flash custom rom

i never liked a2sdgui. use dark tremors it is a much better way to move it dalvik cache to the sd card. and how do you know it did not work? how are you verifying it?
